- Is it me or is giving mixed messages? I know you're the Queen and all, but you know it can't be both, right Nick?
- Don't get it twisted.
- Don't believe everything you see on social media. Even if it comes from the artist themself.
- Maybe she doesn't want people to think the hiatus is gonna be a long break?
Nicki Minaj wants to set the record straight about the alleged break she plans to take.
Just last week, Nicki herself told fans on her Stationhead radio show, writing, “I am doing a hiatus. But I have the Vogue thing, which I’m very proud and honored to do, and a couple things and then I’ll be taking a little moment to reflect.” But apparently she either misspoke or she was misunderstood, because after those plans started getting repeated on fan pages and blogs, Nicki popped back up for a fact check.
She tweeted, “Ain’t going no [MF’n]where. Kiss my ass & HIATUS… LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. We don’t announce the hiatus Barbz. Crack is whack. We don’t do that. Dem love chat dem no run dem block! Just relax & let what will be…be *dramatic cinematic music begins*”
