Coco Jones celebrated the release of her debut album Why Not More? during an unforgettable performance for her day-one fans.

On Friday night, April 25, the Grammy-nominated singer-actress hit the stage at her exclusive iHeartRadio Album Release Party in Los Angeles hosted by Real 92.3's J. Cruz. Coco Jones began the set with her smash hit "Taste" followed by her previous single "Here We Go (Uh Oh)." The 27-year-old R&B singer closed out with a special performance of her breakthrough hit "ICU" and encouraged her fans in the crowd to sing along with her.

"I feel like I had no idea what was going on .com," Jones told Cruz in between songs. "It was such a switch from being from, no one was really checking for me to now i'm going viral on TikTok. Now I've got a whole label behind me. Now I'm on a hit TV show. It was giving when it rains it pours."

During the show, Coco Jones was caught off guard when she was presented with a gift from her label. Chairman & CEO of Def Jam, Tunji Balogun and Founder & CEO of High Standardz, Jeremy “JDot” Jones surprised her onstage and gave her a Gold plaque for her song “Here We Go (Uh Oh)." The song, which samples Lenny Williams' timeless classic "Cause I Love You," was the first single for the album and went on to earn two nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Coco Jones' Why Not More? contains 14 tracks including "Most Beautiful Design" featuring Future & London On Da Track, and the title track featuring YG Marley. Jones said the album made her do a deep dive into her life that helped her discover her authentic self and figured out who she really is inside.

"As long as I lean into being authentic, good things happen," she explained. "Why Not More? is kinda of like, just lean into that. Don't worry about where it all ends up. As long as you're doing what feels right, you'll get where you need to go."

"I think it's very empowering to look within," she continued. "I feel like in this job you're asked a lot of questions and you need to know the answer because it stems from you. And so I think it required me to do a deep dive on who I am and what I want to say and why. I think that led me to a certain confidence that I feel like I still have so much more to go. I do not know it all, but I know what I need to know right now, and that's good enough for me."
