The 2025 Black Effect Podcast Festival just got bigger thanks to a new addition to its already stunning lineup.
On Thursday, April 17, iHeartRadio and Charlamagne Tha God announced Funky Friday with Cam Newton will make its debut at the Black Effect Podcast Festival next week. The former NFL star is known for his conversations about lifestyle, relationships and workplace habits as well as discussions about the latest in pop culture and entertainment news. He invites celebrities like Trina, Ralo, Killer Mike and more to share stories about their successful careers, the hardships they've endured, and more.
The third annual Black Effect Podcast Festival is happening Saturday, April 26 at Pullman Yards in Atlanta. Hosted by Mandii B and WeezyWTF, the event will feature some of its most popular shows and personalities for an entire day of live podcast tapings and informative discussions.
Black Effect's annual event, which draws thousands of fans every year, will feature live appearances from some of the Black Effect's most popular shows including Decisions, Decisions, Woman Evolve with Sarah Jakes Roberts, Good Moms Bad Choices, R&B Money, Naked Sports with Cari Champion and The Trap Nerds Podcast. Fans will get to hear thought-provoking and informative panel conversations during the event including "Adapting to Trends: The Future of Podcasting" and so much more.
