Tyler, the Creator gave his fans a Christmas gift they will never forget.

On Wednesday, December 25, the California native surprised fans with a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar's recent song "Hey Now" from his GNX album. On the freestyle dubbed "That Guy," Tyler raps about his riches, reflects on his time at K.Dot's "Pop Out" show earlier this year and boasts about the success of his CHROMAKOPIA album. The 33-year-old also shared the official music video for the song, which features Odd Future alumni Travis “Taco” Bennett, Jasper Dolphin and "The Bear" star Lionel “L-Boy” Boyce.

"Hey now, say now, get sticky like a hun bun/You will never be the main guy, you're a plus one," he raps. "300k in four days, CHROMAKOPIA/Twelve days gold, I ain't even drop deluxe one."

It's not every day when Tyler, the Creator freestyles over a trending instrumental. Yet, if he's going to drop fresh bars over anything out right now, it might as well be from Kendrick's stash. The two have never formally collaborated on a song before, but now fans can understand what a Tyler & Kendrick song could sound like.

"That Guy" is the first song Tyler, the Creator has released since his Chromakopia album dropped in October. The album features hits like "Rah Tah Tah" and "Noid" plus collaborations with Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Daniel Caesar, ScHoolboy Q, Doechii, Teezo Touchdown and more. Shortly after he dropped the album, Tyler announced the plans for his "Chromakopia World Tour."
