Cash Money Latin's newest signees have a lot to celebrate.

On Sunday, June 9, the four Puerto Rican artists took over the iconic record label's first-ever float in the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City. Midnvght, DimeWest, JEYYFF, and El Blxnco made their presence known as they blasted their music from massive speakers, met with fans and waved their flags from 44th Street all the way up to 79th Street. While they cruised through the packed streets, each artist stepped up to the mic and belted out fire Spanish bars for their exclusive 4 Shooters Only segment, "From The Puerto Rican Day Parade."

"It's a huge opportunity," Mvnight tells iHeartRadio. "I used to watch [the parade] on TV. I'd never been there. Now that I got to go, it's a blessing. It was dope performing for los Boricuas — the people who made me. I'm always grateful to Puerto Rico. My music will always be for them."

Their takeover at the parade served as the grand finale of Cash Money's week-long media blitz. Last Monday, June 3, the iconic label, founded by Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams, announced the expansion of its Latin imprint. The new generation of CML was formally introduced during an intimate event in Miami Beach the following day. After Birdman called in via Zoom, Slim sat with his new artists as they explained how they discovered Midnvght, JEYYFF, DimeWest and El Blxnco.

"By embracing these Latin artists, we embark on an exhilarating new chapter in our journey," Slim said in a statement. "We are dedicated to supporting them and to help them realize their potential while introducing them to current and new fans globally. At Cash Money Records, diversity and authenticity have always been our cornerstone and we eagerly anticipate these exceptional artists will propel their music in the Latin market."

Cash Money officially launched its Latin division back in 2020 by releasing Luis Armando's song "Chica Mala." The label's effort is spearheaded by A&R Carlos ‘Los’ Rivas, A&R Marketing/Publicity Manager Cristina Novo, and VP of Digital Matty Bernal, who assisted in bringing their latest additions together.

Each artist draws inspiration from the greatest voices in both Latin and Hip-Hop worlds, but their respective sounds are unlike the OG reggaetoneros and MC's who came before them. Midnvght fuses elements of Hip-Hop and trap in his latest single "Caracol" featuring Ñengo Flow and DimeWest. DimeWest also flexes his Spanish flows alongside fellow Latin Trap star Yovng Chimi on their recent collaboration "Porche Carrera." JEYYFF serves up soothing melodies on his first release from the label "Lonely," and El Blxnco switches from Spanish to English bars on his recent album El Whitey.
